Newtown Homefront Beautification Program
The Newtown Homefront Beautification Program (NHBP) is a community-driven effort to enhance the exterior appearance of single-family homes within the Newtown Community Redevelopment Area.

Non-Profit Mini Grant Program
The Non-Profit Matching Mini-Grant Program supports non-profit programs providing services in Newtown or for the benefit of Newtown residents. Do you own or operate a nonprofit serving the citizens of Newtown? You may be eligible for a grant.
Through the Nonprofit Mini Grant Program and associated funding, the NCRA has helped these nonprofits create an impact in our community.

Youth Thrive Initiative
Impact:
102 youth participants (K–12+)
150 rides provided to school to prevent absenteeism
Extensive enrichment through community partnerships: Acting (Asolo Rep), Art (Ringling Museum), Character Development (SRQ Strong), Financial Literacy (Bay First), Nature Outings (Big Waters Land Trust), and more
Full-day summer program planned including literacy tutoring and swimming
SCORE Manasota:
Monthly Entrepreneurship Workshops and Mentoring
Impact:
7 workshops (final upcoming), free lunch provided
62 total attendees; 39 unique participants
19 individuals (48%) engaged in follow-up mentoring
Increased Outreach: Walked neighborhoods monthly to distribute flyers and increase engagement
